2024 Rates and Registration

Tuition Assistance
The cost of hosting the Choral Workshop has increased substantially in the post-COVID era, forcing us to raise our tuition rates. The 2024 tuition has been kept as low as possible due to the generosity of last year’s auction attendees, a $5000 grant from the Goldberg Foundation, and a second anonymous donation from friends of the Workshop.
Thanks to recent donations to our letter writing campaign and another generous anonymous gift, we are able to offer help to singers who otherwise would not be able to attend. A limited number of $300 grants to such potential participants is available on a first-come basis. Learn more here …

Singer – $1600
Early Bird Discount: Register and pay by 30 April 2024 for $100 off! ($1500)
Includes lodging and meals at Ogontz Camp, tuition/singing sessions, recreation, and special events. Musical score expenses are not included.
Student Singer – $1500 (not applying for music student scholarship, see above)
Participant must be a full-time college student at the time of registration, and at least 18 years old; or if younger, accompanied by a responsible adult (registered and paid).
Includes lodging and meals at Ogontz Camp, tuition/singing sessions, recreation, and special events. Musical score expenses are not included. No Early Bird Discount.
Non-Singer – $1500
This is the category for spouses, family, and friends coming with you who are not going to sing. Includes lodging and meals at Ogontz Camp, recreation, and special events. Non-singers may not participate in singing sessions including rehearsals, master classes, and warm-ups. No Early Bird Discount.

If we are forced to cancel the event, any money you have paid will be refunded in full. Alternatively, you may apply your payment toward the 2025 workshop, or contribute all or part of it as a tax-deductible donation to the Foundation.
If the event takes place, but you need to cancel, your refund will be subject to the refund policy (below).

For Past Workshop Participants
If you are responsible for a first-time singer attending in 2024, you may be eligible for a $50 rebate on your tuition for each new singer you bring.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
- Prior to 23 May 2024 – 100% of fees are refundable minus a $25 cancellation service charge
- Prior to 13 June 2024 – 75% of fees are refundable minus a $25 cancellation service charge
- Prior to 4 July 2024 – 50% of fees are refundable minus a $25 cancellation service charge
- As of 4 July 2024 refunds for fees paid are no longer possible.
Registration Process
- Make sure to read the Health & Safety Information before you register.
- Click on the Register Now! button below. You will receive an email copy of your form. Please save it for future reference. A separate registration is needed for each individual.
- After you click Submit, you’ll see a confirmation message with a link to Payment info. Click on the appropriate link.
- If you are interrupted and need to pay the full tuition later, use the Pay Here button below. You will receive an email receipt of your payment. Please save it.
- Once you are registered and paid, you’ll receive information on how to acquire the music.
- Later in the spring we’ll ask for your preferences for lodging, chores, dietary issues and more.
- Lodging and chore assignments will be made during the week before camp. You’ll receive that information when you arrive.
