Tuition Assistance for singers

The cost of hosting the Choral Workshop has increased substantially in the post-COVID era, forcing us to raise our tuition rates. The 2024 tuition has been kept as low as possible due to the generosity of last year’s auction attendees, a $5000 grant from the Goldberg Foundation, and a second anonymous donation from friends of the Workshop.

We believe that the opportunity to sing under the extraordinary artistic leadership of David Hill, Paula Rockwell, and George Kent, together with the meals, lodging, and beauty of Ogontz Camp, provide exceptional value. We trust you will agree and pay the full tuition if you are able.

We do realize, however, that the increase will put a stress on the means of some singers. Thanks to recent donations to our letter writing campaign and another generous anonymous gift, we are able to provide help to those who otherwise would not be able to attend. We are able to offer a limited number of $300 grants to such potential singers on a first-come basis.

If you want to apply for help in order to attend the 2024 Ogontz Choral Workshop, please …

  1. Register using the Register Now! buttons on the Nuts’n’Bolts page.
  2. After submitting your registration form, you’ll receive a confirmation message with payment information.
  3. Click on the link to request assistance and complete that brief form.
  4. As long as funding is still available, you will receive an email confirming your grant and including a special link allowing you to pay the discounted tuition, which you will need to complete within 7 days of the confirmation message. Do not use the Pay Now button that appears on the Nuts’n’Bolts page.
  5. Once the assistance funding has been exhausted, it will be announced on the Nuts’n’Bolts ($) page and you will have the opportunity to decide whether to register and pay the full tuition.

Note: Assistance is not available to Non-singers.
