Ogontz Choral Workshop
Vocal Scholars Institute
Application deadline: April 1st, 2027
-
In addition to singing with the central choral program, vocal scholars bring a piece of solo repertoire to work on with our outstanding voice faculty in a 45-minute private voice lesson and optional solo masterclass. Vocal scholars are then given the opportunity to workshop their piece further with our collaborative pianists and present it in a student concert at the end of the week.
-
Vocal scholars have the option to participate in a conducting workshop led by Maestro David Hill. This is a rare opportunity for conductors of all skill levels (or aspiring conductors) to gain practical experience leading an excerpt of the week’s repertoire.
